Short and Long Therapy

Initially I offer 6 sessions for my client, to have an idea how we both can work together and to give my client control of their own choices. Once they feel the therapy is going the way they want, then we will be considering if short term or longer therapy, which is usually 12 to 20 sessions is the best for their need.  In some cases where there are some complications and deeper rooted issues, then I will discuss with my client the idea of having longer-term therapy to address their needs in a more effective way.
